Best pub in Wimbledon. Hands down.

We visited our favourite place in Wimbledon – the Rose and Crown. The service is always impeccable. We were so impressed with Maria our server. She took our photos, was on hand whenever we needed her and made sure that every aspect of our anniversary dinner was perfect. The fish was sublime; the food was just perfect. The kitchen accommodated our request to change the bread even though it was off menu. The manager did everything possible to make us feel welcome and special. We had a brilliant time. Our only regret is that we didn’t book to stay the night 🙂

Easily a top 3 roast in London!

Easily a top 3 roast in London! Food was amazing, and the service was extremely good. Especially considering all the awkward guests trying to steal tables for the Euros and the waitresses having to keep them at bay. Would highly recommend a visit. Special shout out to Martha and Margot!

Fabulous stay in Wimbledon

Stayed here for 3 nights while attending the tennis championship for the 1st time. Room and accommodation was excellent. Staff friendly and delicious breakfasts. Lively atmosphere in the pub at night but great to be in the heart of Wimbledon for the tennis-they really go all in for it! Hopefully will be lucky with tickets for next year and would love to return.

Had an amazing experience for our wedding party!!

We had our wedding around 20 minutes away from the Rose and Crown and decided to take on the whole accommodation. Katie, Faye and the team did an exceptional job accommodating us through the organisation pre arrival through to the operational aspects trying to feed 22 hungry mouths!! Overall Faye and her team created a stress free experience and to top it all off the Comfy Feature was a gorgeous room! Very spacious to allow my Wife to get ready ahead of the wedding but also an ideal ‘bridal/honeymoon suite’ for those looking for a more special room! Thanks Faye and all the team that made our stay so special!

My First Trip to London

This was my first trip to London and I am so glad that I chose to stay at the Rose and Crown in Wimbledon. First of all, Wimbledon village is very charming and the Rose and Crown only adds to the charm. I loved everything about my stay here. The rooms were clean and comfortable with excellent amenities down to the details of lovely floral soaps, a curated snack basket, and delicious teas to enjoy. The food at the restaurant was incredible! I didn’t venture out much because I wanted to keep trying different things on the menu at the pub, it was all excellent. One of my favorite parts was getting to know the friendly staff and pub dog, Fred. I will definitely stay here again the next time I am in London!

The Rose & Crown was excellent , Nicky and all her staff were excellent. They were both helpful and friendly and also very efficient. We booked an evening meal which was superb and the service was great. A lovely atmosphere /vibe would definitely recommend and stay again.
