Well that was our Summer, ( such as it was ! ) and the chill in the air reminds us that the Christmas Season will hasten upon us.

Here at the Rose and Crown, preparations are underway to offer scrumptious traditional fayre throughout the season. We’ll have hearty soups, succulent roasts and irresistible puddings, accompanied by a tantalising wine list. Our vegetarian menu will be equally well catered for.

If you fancy catching-up with old friends, colleagues or family in a cosy festive atmosphere, warmed by real coal fires, look no further. Our friendly staff will make you feel welcome and cared for.

Take a look at our Christmas Fayre and Christmas Day Menu’s. Bookings for these must be made in advance, with menu choices given to ensure your selection. If you have any special dietary requirements, please let us know and we’ll prepare these for you.

If you feel so comfortable that you don’t want to leave, why not stay-over in our adjoining thirteen-bedroom hotel, all with modern amenities for the discerning guest. From 22 December – 04 January we are offering a special Seasonal Rate of £95.00 per room, per night, inclusive of VAT and Full English Breakfast.
